Day 32

ok.. so well we all know I have missed a couple of days. I was out of town but have no fear I did not return empty handed and I have stories. I will get everyone caught up on my fun filled weekend.

Day 32....

We were packed, we were ready, we were already an hour late.

My cousin lives in North Carolina so we were off for the weekend to spend with her and her family.
Oh I had the best intentions.
I was going to be packed and ready to roll by the time the girls got off the bus.
I was GOING to be... I wasn't.
I had spent the day hemhawing around all day. There was no motivation in my body to get the suitcase down, to find clothes for the girls...nothing.
I was however motivated to load my iPod up with all sorts of music for my four hour drive.
Well if you know me than you know I can get soooo side tracked by a song. Time ticked away and passed on without my knowing. When I looked up I realized the girls were getting off the bus and I hadn't done a thing!
I threw our suitcases together and an hour late we were on the road... well sorta...
We were getting gas
We were getting a soda
and
We were getting stuck in traffic!

I was at the McDonald's drive thru trying to merge into traffic when this car with a bunch of teenage brats would not let me pull out of the driveway! I mean seriously they inched forward when they saw me to secure their place in line. The problem was them doing this was also backing up the McDonald's drive thru. They saw me and they were in their car laughing and looking at me. They knew what they were doing but 'Buffy' and her minions so weren't caring.
It was at this point I realized that I really wanted to pull a Fried Green Tomatoes and ram her car! All the while smiling and saying "Girls, I'm older and have more insurance". I actually had to talk myself out of this. It sounded so good! Needless to say we hit the road, I didn't ram any ones car but it so would have been awesome!
We arrived two hours late and I still had a front bumper. Next time though...it's happening. I am going to throw that Pacifica in reverse and gun it! Don't mess with a married single mom and her mini vaca!
