She is a beautiful child. She is so helpful to me and for the most part to her sister. She is beyond smart. She is a great friend. I am so lucky I have such a gorgeous child who I know will be a great and exquisite adult.
In this picture she was looking away from me and I just called her name and as soon as she turned I clicked. When I looked, I fell in love. Her freckles and her innocent look were all there and than I noticed it. While I could see my baby girl in this face I could also see a young woman. I see a confidence emerging. I could see that while she is only nine there is an 'old soul' in those eyes.
I didn't think I could fall in love with her more but now I am learning to fall in love with the young adult that is growing in front of me and learning to help her hold on to the bit of the innocent child she has left and embrace the growing she has coming in the years ahead.
Innocence is growing up.
Love the pic. She is a beautiful girl!! Yes she may be a little sassy sometimes but she is still awesome :) and will surely be a great woman!! Give them both hugs for me!
