I bought a bowl today!
A pretty, white ceramic bowl.
I'm sure you're now wondering why in the world is she telling me about a bowl.
Well my kitchen color scheme didn't go quite as planned and it's looking a bit more Jamaican Island and less Paula Deen Country. So how do you make a tropical island a country oasis?
Well buy a bowl silly!
Ok I'll explain......
I got a call from Nicole's teacher. She said Nicole was complaining about her ankle and according to her Nicole NEVER complains. At this point I figured she had the wrong Mom. My Nicole complains. She complains about dinner, her clothes, her hair, her head, the weather, the foreign exchange rate... she complains.
Well her teacher assures me it IS my Nicole and she is not sending her home on the bus.
There is 30 minutes of school left at this point, and while I find it a bit redonkulous to drive up there I do. I get the big and little complainer, (if I didn't get the big one she would complain). Oh and than... I get stuck! Apparently the buses like to park in the area I was at. Not only do they sit there, they sit there in a W. So I had to wait for all the other kiddos to board their bus and for the buses to leave BEFORE I could get home!
I decided than that the bus would make it to my house before I did so I needed to make this trip worth my while. What to do...what to do....what to do...
WALMART!
While walking around aimlessly I see it! THE BOWL!!! Seriously it was perfectly lit, nothing around it. And wait for it.. the best part....there was a yellow tag on it! Well Yee-HAW! It's on clearance! That's better than sale! I scoop it up. I look to the left, look to the right. I am waiting for the mob of bowl shopping women to tackle me to the ground stealing my find! No one comes. At this point I bee line to the check out. It all goes smoothly! No security to tell me that "Ma'am, this bowl is actually not for sale, you're going to have to give that back."
I made it home safely and the bowl is here too!
It turned my kitchen immediately with it's presence to COUNTRY SHEIK!
It turned my frown upside down, and made me realize my color choice was not bad after all.
Today was a good day!
See... I bought a bowl today.
I'm a little bit country!
AWW Thanks for going to all that trouble to buy me a bowl.....I will wait patiently for it to arrive in the mail!! Love you ;)

I like that color it does not look as greenish as the other pic I like it. Remember you need to become a writer. See whats a girl to do when she has it going on!!! She takes good photos, she a good writer, LOTS of INSPIRATION!! Love Ya'LL
